Topic Submissions are now OPEN for the next three M3AAWG General Meetings. Members and Non-Members are encouraged to submit topics that align with M3AAWG’s Top Priorities and Focus Areas. General Submissions include single speakers, panel discussions, keynote speakers, training, working sessions, and informal Birds of a Feather (BoF). We are also accepting submissions for Open Roundtables (ORTs) and Lightning Talks.

General Submissions

  • 62nd General Meeting - Toronto, Canada      General Submission Deadline:  August 5, 2024
  • 63rd General Meeting - Lisbon, Portugal       General Submission Deadline: December 2, 2024
  • 64th General Meeting - Vancouver, Canada   General Submission Deadline: April 7, 2025

 

ORT Submissions and Lightning Talk Submissions

  • 62nd General Meeting - Toronto, Canada          Submission Deadline: September 16, 2024
  • 63rd General Meeting - Lisbon, Portugal           Submission Deadline: January 27, 2025
  • 64th General Meeting - Vancouver, Canada      Submission Deadline: May 12, 2025

You have an opportunity to directly contribute to the ongoing effort to fight online abuse by submitting ideas for M3AAWG General Meetings. Even if you cannot attend the meeting you are encouraged to submit your ideas. M3AAWG’s Program Committee will work to ensure selected topics are placed with relevant speaker(s) or panelists. 

 

J.D. Falk Award Nominations are OPEN - Deadline: August 5, 2024

Nominations for this year’s J.D. Falk Award are now OPEN. The award will be presented  during our 62nd General Meeting, October 7th-10th, 2024, in Toronto, Canada. Submit a nomination by August 5, 2024, for someone who has demonstrated dedication to improving the Internet experience and protecting end users, maintains a vigilant eye on the broader perspective of Internet systems and communities, and calls upon thoughtful humor when things get tough. The Falk Award recognises a particularly meritorious project undertaken by a dedicated individual or group reflecting the spirit of volunteerism and community building The award seeks to recognize efforts for a particularly meritorious item of work rather than recognizing a lifetime of achievement.
