As the Messaging, Malware and Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group (M3AAWG) continues a global push towards combating online abuse, Dennis Dayman will be presenting at Nordic Domain Days later this month in Sweden.

This international gathering, which focuses on education and building connections, will include some of the domain industry’s most influential stakeholders. Dennis’s visit aligns with a broader effort to champion the work of M3AAWG, which works to safeguard online systems worldwide, making it relevant to such a domain-focused audience.

Held from April 27 to 29 at The Clarion Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden, Nordic Domain Days is a premier meeting for domain industry professionals. It is an event strategically chosen by M3AAWG as it directly aligns with:

  • An organizational focus on addressing threats like phishing, spam, and DNS abuse.
  • Developing M3AAWG Best Practices that can ultimately prevent harm to domain integrity.
  • Better shaping global messaging security standards through influencing policies that impact registries, registrars, and email senders alike.
  • Strengthening M3AAWG’s network of domain-specific subject matter experts to help shape even stronger public policy statements.
  • Advancing partnerships between M3AAWG and domain industry stakeholders to fight online abuse across the entire digital ecosystem.
  • Supporting M3AAWG’s Abuse Desk Committee in its newly increased focus on hosting security.

"It's an honor to be invited to speak at this event, where we can collectively address these challenges and dive deep into the shared challenges of M3AAWG’s mission and the domain ecosystem, such as registrar responsibility, DNS abuse mitigation, and global policy trends," Dennis said.

Dennis’s work has created a more secure online environment for millions over the span of his career. In addition to his groundbreaking contributions as a M3AAWG Pioneer, he currently serves as Co-Chair for the Growth and Development, Public Policy, and Program Committees.

M3AAWG has been invited to present two sessions at Nordic Domain Days regarding M3AAWG’s industry-leading collaborations and the work that remains ahead.

Dennis will be speaking about mitigating online abuse in the hosting and domain ecosystem, and he will also lead an open panel discussion focused on names and numbers, abuse, and public policy.

"I look forward to furthering awareness of M3AAWG’s work and spreading the word about the opportunities within our organization among some of the most influential stakeholders in the domain industry,” he said. “This unique opportunity to showcase M3AAWG's initiatives to domain registrars, registries, and DNS experts firsthand will help bridge knowledge gaps, advance cross-community collaborations, and promote a safer digital environment for all,” he added.
